Dude, I trust the director to make the right casting decision. So if he thinks 비 fits the role he most likely will.

My guess: 비's music career has failed to live up to expectations, so he's looking at other options.
Isn't actor/actress the most popular route for failed Korean singers?

NOOOOOOOOO!

It's Park Chan-Wook. I'll keep an open mind no matter what Lord Vader thinks.

yeah I heard about this last year! and I thought this is BS!!
singers taking away roles from actors!
they are just using him becuase of bank ability..
some people I have asked said NO NO he is a great actor!!
he did this TV DRAMA and it was number 1!! ummmm yeah
becuase 2million middle school girls watched it!! like they know what acting is.. all they see is him!! still they the critics think he can act..
so what if he can.. he is not an actor! he is a singer.. so he should be singing! but in korea.. they do it all.. taking away roles from guys who have studied and trained for years broken their backs in theatres and stuff, great actors cant get a break, and BI gets a great role, becuase well becuase he is BI!!

I thought the hip-hugging ajumma thread was apocalyptic.

Ragnarok be upon us boys. Throw on your fresh skivvies.

However, this may just be proof that Park, Chan-Wook is the less-than-talented flash-in-the-pan that I always thought him to be.

Lee, Chang-Dong!! Lee, Chang-Dong!!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Sorry, not sure what occurred just then. TTFN.

Rain, and all other male Korean pop stars, are simply FAAGGTASTIC.

End. Of. Story.

the movie is a romance film, not what you'd expect from Mr Park. But his revenge trilogy is now over...
its set in a mental institute, where the female thinks she is a cyborg and the two of them obviously fall in love...
Im a little aprehensive of this film...

when i first read the title of this thread i thought "bi" meant that the star of park's new film spent half his time chasing skirts and the other half huffing dongs.

i guess i was wrong. the guy is 100% heterosexual.

So, to all the Vaders out there, in your opinion who should Mr. Park have picked instead for this 'romantic role'?

FAAGGTASTIC, meaning a male who attempts to appear gaaaaay. Just. Like. Every. Korean male pop star. They should all be bound and gagged and sent off to Elton John or George Michael's place to seal the deal.
