Can you get a re-entry permit from the Daegu airport? (travelling internationally).
If not, what is the process for getting a new visa (mid contract) upon return to Korea??? Same as if applying for a new job? |

I can't answer about the Daegu airport and a re-entry permit but you should be able to get one at the daegue immi office with no difficulty. It usually takes about 15 minutes + waiting time for the lineup.
If you leave without a re-entry stamp your current visa will be canceled and they will take your ARC.
You will then have to:
re-enter on a tourist stamp,
have your boss explain to immigration why you canceled your visa,
THEN he will have to go through the process to obtain a new visa confirmation number for you (including resubmitting all new documents)
AND THEN you will have to make a visa run to Japan (or other foreign country).
You will NOT be legally allowed to work until your visa run is complete. |
