| I'm probably barking up the wrong tree here and would have better luck trying to change the E2 visa laws. Anyhow, I live opposite an elementary school whose traditional percussion group practice just under my nose at 8.30 am every morning. I'm usually out of the house by then, but its saturday morning and I am in an obstreperous mood with a slight headache and the motherless b@st@rds have just started clunking their pots and pans together. Short of exploding in a rage, is there any such thing as local noise ordinances in this country? Could I petition the authorities to make them do the decent thing and move inside? Or do I just have to do what I do when the blue bongo truck brigade comes every afternoon and just suffer it whilst cursing their very existence? |

This may be futile, but how about paying them a visit. Go baring some vita drinks, and speak to the teacher, if there is one. And ask them if they could find somewhere further away from your apartment. It's always worth trying the nicely nicely approach, before going vigilante with buckets of water etc!  |

Even at home, quiet hours are usually from 11pm until 7am for noise ordinances. Vita drinks or some other box of juices may help.
Advil, tylenol or asprin may also help a bit. |

| Cheers for the advice, its not so much me, but my pregnant wife who is getting jacked off by it all. I may wait for the weather to get a bit colder, that may drive them indoors with any luck. |

I sleep during the day (Split-shifter) and there are always noisy buggers outside digging up the ground with bulldozers or hammering concrete or just making some random noise.
Works a charm. |

Whats advil. Paracetamol? I need paracetamol, asprin is great if you take it the night before, but panadol is the only thing if you where to ****ed to remeber on the night. |

| Tylenol and Panadol are both brand names of paracetemol. I'm pretty sure Advil is for cold symptoms. |

That would be the ching, kkwaengwari, and changgo in all likelihood. Three parts of the traditional samulnori performance. Try to be a little more sensitive to Korean traditional music.
As for your sleeping problem, I'd get a couple pair of ear plugs or start going to bed earlier. 8:30 am is a reasonable time for starting a music class. |

You're kidding right?!?
I couldn't live without it. I'm getting some shiped from home as we speak. It's an anti-inflamatory, pain, headache medication. |

Tylenol is actualy Acetaminophen. How this is different from Paracetamol I have no idea, although I've been wondering for years!
Any ideas my pharmacologically-knowledgeable friends? |
