I'm an avid player of Yahoo fantasy sports Hockey and Baseball. I'd love to play with fellow expat's living in Korea. I have vast experience as both a player and commish. You can check out my previous experience looking up my fantasy profile at either hindsight_97 or schizo_stooges. Since I'm already in 8 fantasy hockey leagues I'm creating a new ID [email protected]. Wow! Just thought I would share this information. I did a fantasy draft a few hours ago and this one dude picked Malkin before Crosby! I mean Malkin could be enormous (even as early as this season) but for one the guy is hurt right now and even more important hasn't proven anything at the NHL level! I've seen him go high in drafts but not in the first round before!

I'll look into that right away. I would have no problems drafting Tuesday night around the same time as scheduled for Wednesday as of now. I'll inquire about that in the league and see if anyone who joined based upon the current draft time would have any problems with a change. If it is cool then I'll switch to the time that you would be able to make it and I'll either PM you or update the info on this thread.

I just created the league less than 24 hours ago and already I've got 5/14
slots filled up. If anyone is interested in joining please feel free to sign up and the league info can be found in the original message. For those who have signed up already -if you know of any friends or other people that might be interested please feel free to invite them as well. It would be great if we could get over 10 teams because the large rosters per team would make it quite challenging! Anyhow, thanks to those who have signed up and I'll try my best to recruit more before the draft.

League Update:

Two more teams have joined and we're up to 7/14 with 7 open spots remaining. Anyone interested please join!

Draft Time:

Sorry for those who wanted the draft changed. I would have been able to accomodate a change, but unfortunately others in the league have expressed the inablity to do that given various commitments. Anyhow, my criteria was that if anyone already in the league had a problem with changing the time then it wouldn't be done. I'm sorry for those who are left out because of this. I guess I can't please everyone no matter what time it is held.

The people worried about the "live draft" always have the backup of just doing their pre-rankings beforehand and therefore not obligated to show up for the live draft. It's not really an issue so the more people to show up the better.

That's cool you decided to join. I know it isn't as fun not drafting live, but I did a pre-rank for another league I was in and I was quite happy with the results. It was a very deep league and I got a little bit shafted in goal, but other than that not too bad. Anyhow, whatever you come up with it'll be better than what Yahoo would pick for you! 10/14 slots are now filled with just 4 more to go! Thanks to those for rounding out the league so fast. It's going to be awesome playing with all of you. I'm guessing that if in 24 hours most of the league is full, somehow the remaining 4 slots will be filled up sometime soon.

I'm in. I'm a fromer Duteau Cup champion in one of the oldest and toughest online fantasy hockey league around. Our newest owner for the Calgary team was on our waiting list for three years before he got in I normally only stick to that league due to the time needed to be put into it, but this should be fun and will give me a chance to meet a few people in Korea (coming in Dec!). Wow!

The league filled in one day! I've got 14 teams now and I've just increased the league to 16 allowing two more teams to join. Apparently, there is more interest in the league and I'm going to keep opening up more spaces as necessary to allow more teams to join. This is awesome!
