Hi there. My boyfriend and I are avid pool players and are about to move to Seoul for the next year. We're wondering what the scene is out there for people like us? Is it standard for bars to have tables, or are there mainly pool halls? Eight-ball or nine-ball? Are the rules more like American, British, or none of the above? And, does anyone know of pool leagues for English speakers?

There are billard clubs all over the place where you can pay to play pool. I don't know what rules people use, I guess it depends who your playing pool with.

Some of the bars have pool tables as well.
