GI's have been a bad scene for me. The American Army guys are generally the worst in my experience. They are all married or have multiple GF's at one time. Too much deceit and heartbreak. But then we met some great guys from Songtan, from the USAF. These guys are all intelligent, in great shape, and so big-hearted it's awesome to know them! Some were married, but they were honest about it and we maintained good friendships. One became such a good friend that he's hopefully coming to our wedding in December, he is in Alaska now. He is one of our best friends. As for the rest of the GI's I knew from the Army and dated, they all ended up treating me like crap or falling for me when I wasn't interested. No good experiences there. You really need to divide the GI classifaction into Services for the poll.
As for Nigerians, I've never dated one but I have been followed, grabbed, harassed and stalked by them. So no votes there. I've been great friends with many Foreign teachers, but they generally don't fit my type(muscular, hairless torso and short neat hair, clean shaven, etc).
I'm head over heels with the most amazing man in the world. He's Korean but grew up in the USA for almost 20 years. Walks and talks like a Texan, but he's a Korean citizen. So in a way he's a Kyopo, but he's still a K citizen. Best man I've ever met, and I'm just as in love with him as he is with me. It's all about personalities, beauty is only skin deep after all!Wink

Good for you Kumara, I wish you and your other half all the best! Smile
Just out of curiosity, if your guy's a K-citizen, did he have to serve in the K-military????

sorry girls, but this is gonna annoy you.

my girlfriend, korean Laughing , noted the other day the lack of attractive western women in seoul. unfortunately, i agree with her!

ratslash:
one of these days, you'll realize that your "girlfriend" is a stuck-up prissy lil' bi*** who either has narcissistic personality disorder, is borderline, histrionic, and/or bipolar. And btw, scoring a k-chick is like beating Togo in the World Cup -- the standard of play is way below international standards.

firstly, i would like you to elaborate. how do you know my "girlfriend"? you seem to think you know her quite well because you refer to her as "stuck up" and a "lil' bi***" etc etc. so, what in depth conversation have you had with her that would lead you to think in this manner?

you seem to think that i need to "realize" these 'facts' about her, facts which are obviously true because you have written them and therefore they must be true because of course you know my WIFE'S personality.

secondly, as noted above, aforementioned "girlfriend" is now my wife. please check the date of post before attacking someone and their spouse and embarrassing yourself in such a manner.

A lot of Korean men find western women attractive. Your friends would be so jealous if you date a white girl. It's so funny how white women are so skeptical about their looks. Their bodies are more accentuated than Asian women, for example.
Personally, it was never the physical part which prevented me from approaching white girls. I just don't feel emotionally open to white women, that's all. I mean... what would we talk about???

You left out Iranians. I was very dissapointed when I got here and found out that I wasn't attracted to Korean men. I found them too small/feminine, they don't smell like a man and I don't really like the sound of the Korean language - voice is an important factor for me. These are just my general observations, I haven't actually dated any K men and no I don't go around sniffing them to see if they smell right! Luckily I managed to find an Iranian and it's all going well.
Just watch out. Many Iranians have arranged marriages with their cousins...GROSS!!! An Iranian prof at my uni did this and cheated on her with another prof! A Korean guy I worked with also told me his Iranian friend had to marry his cousin, too. P.S...What does a man smell like? I like pretty smells...hehehe
