Did anyone who responded here, besides Candide, actually read this guy's OP?!?!?

His girlfriend drank milk from the carton, he asked her not to, she told him to *beep* off, so he

HIT HER ACROSS HER FOREHEAD WITH A BOOK
....and then TOLD HER TO RESPECT HIM BECAUSE HE IS A MAN AND HE IS OLDER!!??

Chaz, you are fucking nuts.

(and also, you don't fit into the confucian hierarchy because you are a foreigner).

Oh, get over yourself. The damsel in distress is so 1990s. It's a rough world, deal with it.

Chaz, you've got a lot of good opinions here. Get rid of her. Change the numbers on your lock. Ignore her. It'll only get worse.

I am more impressed that he has been with this woman for 200 days (I assume in Korea) and he mentioned that he does not have a hand phone yet. I thought that was a prerequisite to living in Korea.

you are my guest = I am a man?

looks like you didn't read the OP.

but, honestly, i'm still cracking up on that one. that is such a bizarre thing to say. i mean, once you enter a relationship are you really allowed to say stuff like "you are my guest" and "i'm older than you"?

Forehead? ok that's crossin the line....i read hand...which i felt was still crossing the line but understandable...like a child who persists to touch something and won't listen...a quick tap teaches them fast....but yeah....the forehead? I would flip out too....weather I deserved it or not

Smoooooove.

Sounds to me like she wants you to end the relationship. My advice? Kill her, then yourself*.

*don't really do this

Before we were married my wife used to go postal on me quite a bit. But to be fair, it was usually me who was drinking milk out of the carton, farting in bed, and coming home at 3 in the morning drunk as a lottery winning hobo and demanding that she "dance, monkey, dance!"

Still, she was friggin' nuts. I'm sure she would have had me deported every other week if she could - I met her in my country, thank the heavens.

The secret to maintaining a relationship with these nutso women is to beat them at their own game. If she smashes a plate, you smash the fu**in' lot of 'em. If she pulls a knife, you pull a gun. If she puts one of your guys in the hospital, you put one of hers in the morgue. Eventually she'll come around to recognising that you are better at this than her, and she'll cut it out. Or cut it off. Either way the conflict will be resolved.

Seriously, a lot of these Korean women cannot deal with stress. And they exaggerate x-fold the degree of stress in their lives. So they carry on like crazy teenagers nobody understands (boo hoo). You have to fool them into believing that you are their shield against all potential conflict in their lives. That's what they want: to be treated like lovely princesses who never have to worry about anything because they have a sleazy old king to take care of all their wants and needs. That's probably why she's talking about marriage.

Having the benefit of hindsight, if I were you, I'd change jobs, towns and names - handphones too, if you had one... ha ha.

Otherwise, if you're gonna be the fool and stay with the dingbat, you're gonna have to do what she wants. Now, it may seem like she wants to make you her bitch and boss you around for the rest of your days. But the fact is she's only doing that because you ain't behaving like the badass paragon of masculinity that she wishes you to be.

Start layin' down the law, dude. Tell her it's your way or start walkin', woman. But remember, though this is what she truly wants, there will be initial resistance to the idea of subitting to you. You've given her free reign over a man, something she's never had, and she likes it. But she doesn't have the fortitude to be a real man and deal with all life's difficulties, so deep down she does want you to grow a pair. Just make sure there's numerous Koreans in existence who know you've been in a sexual relationship with her before you tell her what's what, cause she will resist and this could indeed involve her calling the cops and accusing you of crazy shit.

On second thoughts, this is too damn risky to do in a foreign country. Dump that nutjob. And dump her in a public place where there are Koreans who know you to some degree (say, a restaurant you frequent regularly). If she gets slappy about it, good, let her slap you silly (in public). Then, never, ever, under any circumstances let her back in your house. No matter what she says, It's A TRAP! She'll either kill you, or abuse herself with a soju bottle and call the cops on you. Don't fall for it... not even if she promises you tang!

Wow. baptangee, you sound frighteningly sadistic (and masochistic). As for the OP, I doubt you're the victim you'd like to make yourself out to be in this mess. Takes two to tango, you nutcases!

This is ridiculus. Why do you post your personal life on the internet. It comes off as an - I'm right, she's wrong, somebody agree with me - thing. Like you're looking for permission to dump her.

You're a grown man. Do what you want.

I like the comment someone on here made about it taking two to tango. You have a history with this woman, and like the guy who came home drunk at 3am, you're probably not innocent in all of this. It's the same as when two children fight, the one telling the story is never to blame.

The whole thing smacks of immaturity.
