is that an alien spaceship in that picture? hanging over lack michigan?

ioh, i bought a ticket to 가문의 부활. i like korean movies, and it helps me understand them if i read the flyer with a dictionary. it's a 추석 (chew-sock) story about a mafia family that starts instead a kimchi restaurant called 엄마손김치 (mother's hand's kimchi restaurant). It s a chew-sock comedy.

no foreign movies on chew-sock season?

funny, i have student called 양말. (socks).

what are you chewing right now?

A space ship? No. Either McCormick Place or Navy Pier. The spaceship, AKA, Soldier Field is somewhere else.

my viewing pleasure so far this week...

-"extras" funny as fook...(for those who don't know, ricky gervais' follow up to the office...a bit different, but far funnier imo)

-the vengence trilogy by bak choon wook

-some silly korean movie about a vampire cop called ricky

-the "pusher" trilogy...a danish set of films about drugs and gangsters. Very dark but very good

(i may get on to the dvd of "bullitt" i bought last week)

anyway, happy chuseok all!
