Does anyone know what qualifications and experience are needed to get a job at a University Language Education Centre? I have a Bachelor of Social Work and a BA, Native Studies which includes linguistics. I also have a TEFL. My teaching experience was with adult refugees as a volunteer, and I did some marking one year for a University.
I would prefer to teach adults.
Right now I write lots of reports for the court on youth in trouble with the law.
The reason I am asking is many state they want one and three years teaching experience. Also, I don't want to start with very advanced university students.
If anyone has some information that would be appreciated.

If you were IN Korea you would be just fine for a University or a Unigwan.

If you are hoping to get hired from abroad, good luck to you.
