Why are you hijacking your own thread, sundubu? Enquiring minds want to know.
FTR, I am Irish/Anglo. I could give a rat's rear about my Anglo heritage and have always identified only with my Irish heritage. I am not the only person to do this. Most people tend to identify more closely with one particular aspect of their heritage.
As fo Obama, I ask again, as I did earlier, are you trying to imply that people representing Obama's white heritage need his work for social justice more than people representing his black heritage?
Tell me, where is Rice's homage to her blackness? Is it in her white girl diction, pronunciation presentation? (Not meaning to be offensive, just making fun of sundubu.) Or is it in her black job in th White House with all those white good ol' boys? Does she secretly wear a loin cloth under her dresses? Is it in her constant advocating for her "bruthahs" and "sistuhs" over-representation in the lower ranks of the military and prisons?
Rice is far more "white" than Obama will ever be. And it's a stupi question in the first place. A racist queston. You are acting like a racist. I suggest you stop now before, well, you know the old saying, "Better to be..." |

I know where he grew up...
FWIW...Kansas is where his American ancestors are from, NOT THE SOUTH SIDE OF CHICAGO!!!!!!
If he feels nothing for that main aspect of his American heritage, what makes me think he will feel any greater for his pitstop in Illinois? |
First, so you've done a geneological study of Obama's mother?

Now that is a disgusting phrase. One, wtf do you know about what he feels for his white ancestry? NOTHING. Two, htf do you determine that his WHITE ancestry is more important than his black in being American?
Racist fricking...
Disgusting. |

When will lefties stop using "racism" to describe every issue.
If I were black, and wrote every post in this thread in the same way (and trust me, there are plenty of black friends of mine that could have done that, as they feel exactly the same on this issue as I do) would that be racist? |

[quote="sundubuman"]How do you all see Condoleezza Rice?
A tool of white Republicans?
A traitor to her "race"?
or an amazing trailblazer?

amazing trailblazer, but a bit of a dinosaur, too. her political philosophies are based on a 1980s worldview. i totally respect her, though. |

When and where was "racism" used in this thread? You're the one who turned it into a racial issue. You're the one who continued to pound away at Obama's choices couched in term of race. You're the one who is trying to force people to make racial categorizations of Rice. If anyone is trying to make use of racism, it would be you.

No, it'd be BS, just like it is when you write it. Lots of accusations and innuendos and no supporting evidence. You're free to your opinion, but when you have no rational basis for that opinion, it's a BS opinion. White or black or yellow or red. |
