| Does anyone know how to book tickets for the Korea v Ghana football game on Sunday? My Korean friend checked online but said ticket reservations can't be made this way. Was wondering if anyone knows of a telephone number for ticket reservations or whether we can just turn up on the day and buy tickets at the stadium. |

| At this point I'm not sure, since Chusuk probably means that the banks are closed. Hana bank sells them (not sure about others). I went to pick them up this afternoon, thinking it may be my last chance to get them. You just go through a regular teller to get them. The ones we picked up were 20,000 won each. You may be able to get them at the stadium though... hard to say. |

(see bold)
you should be fine doing that, but perhaps it'd be best to go earlier in the day. |

Hopefully for Korea they will play better than the last time they played Ghana. 3-1 Ghana but it easily could have been 6-1.
I wonder if both sides will have all their star players. I know that Korea should have their star striker back that missed the world cup but they will be missing Park JS.
May the best team win. |

Just so you know, my girlfriend just called up and tickets are still availiable from the World Cup Stadium box office starting from 1pm today. Kickoff is 8 pm. Seol Kee Hyun (sic) and the guy from Tottenham will both be playing. Cost is 20,000 won and up.

From the Korea times:
The match is held at 8 p.m. in World Cup stadium in Sangam-dong, western Seoul.
You may be right... but most games I have seen have started at 8 pm... and the newspaper states it will start this time as well. |

My mistake...they are showing it on xsports at 9:30, hence my confusion. 8pm kickoff. I'll edit above. |

| This was a fantastic game, the best I've seen in 5 years here. Ghana dominated Korea from start to finish. The score really could have been 5-1 or 6-1. It does get kind of tiring seeing Korean player after Korean player falling down on the pitch faking injuries. They won that battle maybe 12-2. Embarrassing to watch. |
