Are Premiership games broadcast live on normal Korean TV or do i need to set up the Korean equivilant of 'Sky' to watch them?
And what about The champions League and international matches

Yes. If you mean 'normal' is cable ie MBC/ESPN and you support Reading, or Man Utd and you enjoy Korean commentary.

Same as above (except the Reading part).
In my opinion, get Skylife. You get 2/3 live games a weekend (Premiership AND a good mix of teams/variety) plus build-up/post match anaysis in English. There are also a couple of football magazine programs in English.
Same goes for Champions League. Post match analysis with Andy Gray. Outstanding.
So if you enjoy Korean commentary and a limited amount of games, stick with normal Korean TV. If not, get Skylife and make sure you get the Star Sports channel.
Enjoy. |

Korean cable is perfectly adequate for watching some games. However, if you want a wider selection, I'd recommend watching matches on the Internet. |

MBC-ESPN (available on all standard cable TV systems I think) carries all of the premiership games. By all the premiership games, I mean all games that have a Korean player in the squad...which is Tottenham, Man U, and Reading. They may also do a big game now and again, like Arsenal-Chesea, I'm not sure. They also carry Champions League games. I've found Champions League coverage to be thorough. They show a good pick of games live (usually about 3am and 6am) and also replay them later on that day and night.
Some Int'l games are shown. I've seen England-Macedonia on recently. |
