My plan is to rob a McDonalds and keep eating until a) the nuclear fallout kills me or b) my cholesterol level goes so high I die of a heart attack.
Anyone with me? |

Owch! Man, your repressed. The only solution then would be finding a large oil vat and deep frying yourself. |

Why not just live on Kimchi? That stuff stays good forever, it's pickled and spicy! No worries about cholesterol, and it might even fight off the radiation! |

Hey you guys are kidding about the guns but damn if I am! Frickin' Korea doesn't see fit to let its people own handguns and rifles. S.K just itchin' for invasion without an armed populace and pissed off adjoshis. I'd bet a million won that a drunk adjoshi with a gun could take apart a N.K pansy ass soldier.
It's time like these that I wish I had a gun |

I'm not kidding, I really am a good shot. You give me an M16 I can take a NORK out at close to 500 yards. You just pull whatever you need off the dead soldiers.

Any North Korean dialect Clubs about town? I hear they have a distinguishable accent, and do not use ANY Konglishisms. So if you were caught, the best chance to not be put in a gulag would be to profess any and all hatred to the capitalist-pig traitor-CIA-puppets, and embrace Dear Leader without any use of the words "handuhphone, PeeShee, tahxsee" etc. |

3. Networking. Connected to many churches throughout Korea. If you are interested in knowing where some of these churches are, pm me. There are YWAM bases throughout Seoul and I know that they will be helping people in the event of an emergency. I will be talking to my pastor in the next couple of days and hoping we are prepared to help.. |
My Satanic Worship Heavy-Metal NHB Fighting Club will also be banding together in the post-Korean apocalypse. However, we will only be helping people who own black T-Shirts, boots, have mulletts (a photo ID of you with a mullett at some point in the past will be accepted), and can quote at least three lines from either Red Dawn, Mad Max, or Predator.
I'm thinking more of us will make it out than your church choir. |

Same here. I'm also quite handy with a rocket launcher and a machine gun.

I am probably going to get mocked for this, but when you have worked in Industrial Engineering then this is the kind of stuff you do.
Prepare for the worst...expect the best.
1. How much water are you going to stock your apartment with?
2. What kind of food are you going to store up?
3. Who becomes your friend?
4. What are some of the necessities to sticking this out?
Here are some of the things I have been thinking about. What I would like to see is a formal set of people come together and plan this so if things escalate then we could be better prepared for such an event.
1. Buying a water filter or iodine kit so I can drink the water. Maybe buy a R.O. kit.
2. I am thinking of buying as much can stuff and dried stuff as possible.

I worked in the ski patrol and we had signals for certain events. Maybe someone has some good ideas for this?
5. Finding places where we can hide out in the time of the war. Mount Jirisan probably would be a good location. Rugged terrain, lots of good hiding spots, very big and so on. I can think of others that quite remote and not well known. Definitely having camping gear would be a plus. |
I was about to applaud you for this post, but then (see highlighted part) you manage to stuff it all up by finding a way to work your agenda into it. My god, man! Is there anything you write here that is not in someway connected to your mission here to convert us all to your vision of the afterlife? You, sir, are about as transparent as pane of glass, we can see straight through you. |
Come on...
Organizations of any kind would be better than a solo trying to get an escape. Just because he chose the organizations he's familiar with doesn't mean he's pushing any agenda.
Personally, if the shit hits the fan I'm stealing a boat and heading to China. And, I bet that I can find someone at a local church with a boat that will come with me. |

Thanks. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to respond.
But after thinking about this for a few days...I think that would be the best option. Hire a boat from the south and head south. I will be updating the original post in a couple of days. |
