is it using 99% of my processing speed?
this has been happening a lot recently. my computer grinds to a halt so i ctrl/alt/del and bring up task manager, processes and look at what is using up my processing speed and it is explorer.exe.
i have got a 3.19ghz processor, 2 gig ram and 229 hard drive that is frequently defragged, cleaned and scanned for viruses.
so, why is this program suddenly taking up all my processing power? |

cheers for the reply.
yeah, i've run virus and spyware and it doesn't do it when i do run them. just sometimes randomly it does. maybe it was just a system blip or something. it hasn't done it today so fingers crossed!
thanks again. |
