I have no reason to doubt any of it, but this was funny in the article:

One hedge fund trader told the New York Sun: "He [Vayner] single-handedly decreased trading volumes over the last two hours of the day because everyone was laughing too hard."

I applaud his enthusiasm, but it doesn't come across nearly as impressively as he clearly thinks it does.

this has been all over the news in the past few days.

if you check out the backstory you'll see that, while talented, he's also a pathological liar who was outed as such many years ago by one of yale's university newspapers.

quite sad really. Sad
