John Lennon's Killer Denied Parole for the Fourth Time

Should Mark David Chapman be paroled?
Well, he's been in prison for over 25 years now. Basically, he's just a turd who's one more drain on the people's taxes.
I say, let him out. He will never be able to find a place where people treat him decent as long as he lives. Everywhere he goes, people will shun him, treat him like dirt and probably assault him.
This is exactly what he deserves.
It reminds me of the story of when he whas first incarcerated. He complained that other prisoners were abusing him. Funny that no one seemed to care. |

Surprising to hear he's survived this long. Even Dhamer got a mop bucket across the head early on. No Beatles fans in prisons? |

He's pretty deranged. That wasn't a crime of passion, he planned it and went out and did it in cold blood. What's to say he won't do it again? |

I of course don't care at all. However, if Chapman is made to stay in prison because Chapman's victim was a celebrity, where other murderers (who murder non-celebrities) do get parole, then I say that's unfair and clearly ridiculous. |

I think that's the reason they don't parole him |

As a Liverpudlian, I say keep him where he is. People like that have no right to be free. |

He should be treated no different from any other murderer. If he is eligible for parole, parole him. The victim's identity shouldn't mean anything. |

if he was running around free.. it would be a slap in the face for the way law is suppose to work. Just make others think its a high-profile precident for them to get out or to commit crimes and get out 25 years later, etc.
On to other things.. great avatar. Bootsy Collins was one of the best live bands I've ever seen! A living legend.

Lennon was a genius. No parole. Period. And, yes, I am a dreamer.

Your license to speak on all things musical is hereby permanantly revoked. Go to the back of the class. |
