I hope the flight attendants get better uni's than those brown polyester ones. |

Did you guys notice the new logo on the plane? The red mark similar to this: > However, the logo is skewed, and everytime I see it, it reminds of the insert mark I make when editing papers. Anyway, I think the logo doesn't work... too simplistic and unremarkable. |

I was wondering about the squiggly red thing. Doesn't look like a logo to me. More like a careless spray of paint. What's it supposed to mean? |

The red 'V' type thing has been their logo for a long time. If you ever use online sites, that thing has always been used. Definitely not the greatest logo. |

Asiana Airlines is Proud to Unveil a Brand New Corporate Identity
Our sleek new logo is part of Kumho Asiana Group`s recently launched integrated brand image to mark its 60th Anniversary. We now use the same bold lettering and red wing symbol. The design reflects the strong foundation of excellence that Asiana shares with our parent company and its businesses.
At Asiana, our new corporate identity articulates our firm pride in our airline`s heritage. The symbol, especially, celebrates our vision for the future as a major airline serving Korea and the world.
For you, the logo stands for Asiana`s promise to our customers. The bold lettering signifies the trusted brand values of safety, reliability and heartfelt service that we proudly uphold, while the dynamic red symbol soars above it leading the way in new technology and improved customer services.
The Kumho Group has proven its strength, stability and adaptability throughout its history. The new corporate identity marks a new chapter in its growth, setting the direction for our future. Together with the support of you, our customers, we will continue to strive to be the best among the best airlines in the world. |
New colours, new logo, new squiggley red mark -- it's all 'who cares?' to me. But I've never liked the group name. If you don't know Korean, it's going to look like a nasty swear-filtre dodge, and that's exactly how foreigners (outside of Korea) pronounce it. |

When was the 60th anniversary? They have been using that squiggly mark for at least 3 years already, at least on websites. |

Ah... Yeah, ok, the logo is super effective in bringing across heartfelt pride and all the other stuff guru highlighted. Red arrow= heartfelt, I'm really pickin up what thy're puttin down with that logo. Right. Maybe they don't realize red also connotes anger- heh heh. |

If they redesign their website so that I can actually check a fare of an international flight and make the site so I can actually book with them if by miracle I find a suitable flight, then I may fly with them for the first time. |
