Hey there university employees,
I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I'm applying for a university job (which I've never done before) and I wanted to be sure that I don't screw my application up.
As part of my application for a university conversational English instructor, I have to include the following:
- Cover letter
- Resume with a recent photo
- College diploma and transcripts
- Copy of inside passport page with date of birth and nationality shown
- Reference(s)
My question is this: Does "reference" in this situation mean "letter of reference," or would just providing their names and addresses be sufficient? I didn't find out about this job until just before the deadline so I'm not sure if my references will have time to write me letters. |

I've foudn that it usually means letters of reference in Korea.
But in your case, if you don't have much time, I think supplying names, position/title and contact numbers/addresses, should be sufficient. |
