Out in front of Space Nine aka iPark Mall, these tough old army veteran guys in military fatigues direct traffic and make sure idiot drivers aren't blocking intersections. These guys really, really get all up in the business of cabbies who wait for fares blocking a lane and drivers who try to run red lights/straddle the intersection. I suspect the cabbies are all ex military and old school and quickly fall in.

It's got to be the safest 3 blocks of asphalt in all of Korea and they got to station these guys are major intersections all over Seoul.

I wish I could buy those guys all a round of soju and samgyupsal.

I saw some former ROK Marines in Sinchon the other night directing what little traffic there was on the side street that leads up into Edae. Some festival was going on so their was no traffic anyways. But still, was funny one guy had his canteen belt on and everything!!.. serious business..
