Besides posting on Dave's ESL Circle Jerk, of course.

Myself, I'm finishing my 2nd Tsing Tao, listening to Franz Ferdinand, and trying to devise an excuse to tell my wife when she returns and checks our bank balance. And I'm stroking the hair on my big toe.

I've just finished a 6-pack of Tui and I'm feeling pleased with myself because I've just made a kick-ass 'Whither Vietnam?' animated gif . I'm considering whether or not I should attempt a 'Whither Korea' version or if I should get to bed and continue reading Guns, Germs and Steel.

The truth is though that I shouldn't be on the internet messing around with photoshop and circlejerks at all. I'm supposed to be putting together a research proposal about using CA to investigate ways in which speakers of ELF negotiate linguistic resources in order to maximise sociolinguistic competence. However,

I am doing a variation of GAJ's trip, but I have to head out in a minute to finish my reading before my five hour Friday seminar. I am also regretting it because the atheist thread discussion is turning into one of the better, if done before, ones on the board these days. Rteacher's normal flaky schtick notwithstanding.

I don't know who made that one though. I found it, like all my jokes, on forums.somethingawful.com. Do you have stairs in your house?

I do know who made this one though:

Feel free to use it in any situation where it feels appropriate to cry 'whither, Republic of Korea?'

Nope. And I've long believed that a domicile without stairs -- and central air (because I was raised bourgeois) -- cannot a house be called. Can I get a ruling on this?

Do you like basketball?

I wish it no specific harm.

Whither, Democratic People's Republic of Korea?

My god, how have I lived so long without having photoshop?

I'm debating whether I should watch Grey's Anatomy or go to sleep. I just got done trimming my toenails and I think I'm going to eat some cookies.

Heh. Really. I have the remarkable priviledge of living in a country that sells 6-packs of Tui for $11.95 at the dairy across the road (but $8.95 if I were to head down the hill to the supermarket).

Oh, sparkles - a house with central air is a rare thing indeed in my country. I suspect that we would fall somewhat short of your middle class standards.
