Can anyone give me directions to "Soul Train" bar in Gwangju? What's the nearest subway stop? What's the best way to get there (in relation to the subway, and in relation to other stores in the area)? Thanks. |

I don't live in Gwangju anymore so my memory might be a bit scratchy but the easiest way is to get in a cab and ask for Grand Hotel. Soul Train's about 100 yards from the Grand Hotel on the same road. By subway, the best station to get off at would be Provincial Office and then walk up the road towards the river. |

Where are you coming from that you're taking the subway? Any bus that goes to the Provincial Office Building...or that subway station. |

Hey Soul train!
Soul train's a nice bar, got a nice mix of waeguks and alot of foreigner-friendly Koreans. I got lucky in there twice with the local ladies, and if you're looking for female companions you could go to worse places.
Hope you have some good times in there! |
