I finally got everything all settled and here it is.
I will be throwing a Halloween party in Hongdae at Club FF on Halloween night, Oct. 31st, from 9PM-3AM.
It will be a costume party with a prize for the best costume.
With a costume it will cost 10,000won with one drink included.
Without a costume it will cost 15,000won with one drink included.

I always thought that a party was thrown at someone's home or
business and that food and drink was provided, or BYOB.
How is a party at a bar the same as someone's home? Don't you
have a home? Why not invite people there? Is this really a "party"
or some advertising gimmick for some Korean "soju bang"?
So, if we don't like your party we can go to the party next door? (which
also isn't really a party it is just another bar?)
Sould I send you an RSVP? (which isn't really an RSVP because there
is no host or hostess going out of their way to prepare an entertaining
evening)

Woah. Chill.
What this is a party at a club. What do you want me to call it? I am the host as I am the one in charge of everything, renting the place, giving it a theme, promoting, collecting money, blah blah blah, really daunting for one person. Granted I've been suckered by the "dinner party" thing before and this is not that. It is just people dressing up and going to a club that is playing gothic/rock/dance music. If you haven't been to Club FF before there are plenty of seats for people to sit down and take a rest/talk.
I would love to have a party at my house but have you been to a house party in Korea? There's a reason they don't happen often, most people don't have the room and the one I went to at a 3 bedroom house got broken up at 10:30 by an incredibly irrate ajima.
I'm sorry if my attempt at creating something new and different isn't good enough for you. Why don't you try and be constructive and tell me what would make it a better evening for you? |

I suspect so. It's about life in Korea.
