Here's the situation.

You are on vacation and being the loner expat that you are, you are the only westerner on a boat sailing in the pacific ocean. Because of your continuous bad luck, the boat sinks and you are among the shipwrecked that end up on an uninhabited island.
The question is, if you had a choice, what nationality would the other survivors be. Who would you prefer to be stranded with? All other survivors must be of a single nationality.

So I guess the answer should consider who are the friendliest, easiest to get along with, most resourceful, etc... Sorry but there are only a select number of nationalities to choose from.

I would go with whichever group I could best communicate with.

I think Filipinos and Malaysians tend to have the best English among these groups.

I'd say Filipino.

Not as well as many Filipinos speak English, assuming I got stuck with the right group in this imaginary scenario.

Whichever has the most useful experience to help us survive. Koreans, Japanese, and Taiwanese probably don't go camping a lot. So, I went with Cambodians. I could have also picked the Lao and Burmese...but I've only met Cambodians, and they were pretty nice (and many of them can speak French or English).

I don't know much about people on that list, so I'm going with Thai, and hoping that they cook for me.

White Christians are the rudest ones I've ever met.

Light blue, dear. I haven't been over there yet. Did you say something nasty about me in the other thread?

Scurries over...

I would vote for being stranded with Fijians since they have the best recipes for 'long pig'.

I'd take the meatiest girl.

I'm sure after a week or two my sexual desires for my dirty unhygienic sobbing mess of a companion would be replaced by my much stronger appetite for fresh meat and a quiet meal.
