Months ago, I had asked for advice regarding issues with a previous employer (mainly visa concerns). At that point in time, I was advised not to post information as per suggestion of my legal counsel. Since the employer has refused to respond to correspondances, we are now proceeding via civil court. Therefore . . . .
Yeeha Asia Corporate Training
1) "Gentmanly Contract" with no clear qualifiers on conditions of employment
2) Misrepresented working hours (initially 20-22 hrs, increased 30-50hrs), and scheduled time (initially 9am to 6pm, then 7am to 8pm)
3) Requested Korean bank account to be opened, and bank account in Hong Kong to deposit salary into
4) One to one teaching with clients: However, if client cancels even on the same day (or during scheduled class time) the instructor must reschedule that class. This means one could potentially be expected to be available to teach up to 60 hours a week!
5) Two weeks notice to resign. However, Yeeha Asia may not cancel your Visa (letter of release) even if promised.
6) Taxes deducted up to 10% with no guarantee of payment (additional unknown deductions as well).
7) Changes name from Yeeha Asia to Reflexor.
Please feel free to PM me at any time for further clarification. |
