You are implying maybe that the teachers at your school didn't care much about the immigrant kids they had, to lump them together with other undesirables. What you said does not represent all teachers.

Yes, yes, I know the comments have been verified, blah, blah, blah. My point is the willingness to take a report from a certain news source at face value in one case and not in another.

The Daily Mail is basically a tabloid dressed up as a 'thoughtful' newspaper. It's aimed at what's known as 'middle England.' It tends to have a holier than thou attitude and pretends to be on this or that moral crusade, always banging a drum about something or other, generally proposing very simplistic solutions for complex social problems. You know the score. Like The Sun it's known for 'selecting' the facts and skewing the story to support its cause (as all papers do to some extent). It's not the best, it's not the worst. |

I know that. But he used his own unique experience with it to paint it all bad. I think I was clear enough in what I said. The policy can be carried out in many ways. Its benefits can be huge.
