Hi,
I have a friend going to Seoul on Saturday. Can anyone please tell me where she can buy those cheap phone cards to call Canada. No fees or surcharges etc. Preferably one for 10,000 won. She will be in Sa-dang area.
Thanks a lot for the info.

If by "phone card" you mean "prostitute", then it should be easy to find a lot of phone cards in sadang. |

Why would I ask someone to bring me back a prostitute for 10,000 won. I am talking about an international calling card. Moreover you are insulting a woman !!! |

Actually, I was confusing Sadang with Shillim, sorry. To my knowledge, Sadang only has the usual quota of prostitutes, not any more. But I'm curious, which woman was I insulting?
To be less useless and answer your question, the 2 places I see a lot of phone cards are by the immigration office in Ohmokgyo and in Itaewon. But I'm lazy and just dial 00700 (kong kong chil kong kong!) and then dial the number. |

Go to the Pakistani grocery stores in Itaewon. The one people know well is called International Supermarket. It's next to a good bookstore called What The Book?
You get out of the Itaewon subway station, look for Burger King, go in the direction of Starbucks, turn right at the next block, and go up the street about a block. These stores are on the left side.
They sell numerous cards. The one I usually buy is called Master Card. |
