If you could do your current job back home for the same pay and benefits would you still stay in Korea? Personally, I would. I enjoy the lifestyle here and my job is a small reason why I stay.

I would stay, but not forever. I am traveling the world, and if I stay too long in one place, then I might as well be back home.

Same here. I think Korea's a pretty good place, but I want to experience life in some other countries, as well. I'm in my second year here and it'll also be my last. After that, who knows?

No, because at home the costs are a lot higher for me and I couldn't save as much. In America, unless you live in a huge city, you really must have a car. That means you need insurance and you have to pay for gas and repairs. Plus, there's not much that tempts me to spend money in Korea, so I save a lot more here. In America, clothes and shoes are a major weakness. Here with a 33 inch inseam and size 9 feet, I can't find any clothes to buy!

London is just too much fun to stay here longer than a year. The only trump card Korea has: 24 hour drinking Laughing

I agree with you guys. I like Korea and by the time I leave I will have been here for over three years.
If I could find a similar job, but in say Italy, I would be a happy bunny Smile

I would run out of here rather quickly. I have mild respect for Kores, but not a whole lot of it, and of had some good times. However, iill never be able to compete with home. The people, the food, the leisure, the cleanliness. Home wins.

I'd most definitely stay here, though I might consider leaving after a while if I could get the same pay, conditions, and wonderful students in a less ridiculous non-English speaking country.

I absolutely adore London. I am an artist, and the range of art there is second to none, plus the history and the culture is amazing. I suppose its because i was well connected back there too, so i knew about any upcoming events

If I could get the same pay in any Latin American country, I'd take it. Same pay in the US - no way. I'm making less than half of what I was at my last job in the states. Even a free apartment wouldn't bring it that close.

Before summer vacation I would've said 'no.' Now, if everything about my job was the same, I'd go home.
