Are you distancing yourself from the DWB claim then? The article didn't mention BLM, you included that but it wasn't in the article. I have problems with that.
Entrapment looks desperate. It really is trolling. The stunt is inspired by recent events even while while you like to harken to a much more innocent age.

I agree. I just finished the article and thought it was very good reporting. (no, Dulouz, writing in the first person is not always a journalistic sin).
One would have to nurse a serious, raging hate-on for Muslims to find that article objectionable. |

| My post was not about picking on Muslims although they deserved to be picked on for everyone's benefit, my post was about journalists and the MSM. Its cool to call the West racist, its not cool to call non Western countries the same although our beloved Thailand spits out countless assylees, Saudi Arabia allows for only Islam and post apartied Africa is genocide central. The world's curse is dirty looks at the airports in Chicago, Washington DC and Paris. Real indulgent. Arrested for living while White. |

Well you've just met one. And not for the usual "they are all terrorists" reasons. Dulouz has a raging hate-on for Muslims simply because they aren't lilly skinned and play baseball.
You are simply ridiculous Dulouz and belong to a time long ago.....a tragedy when someone is born in the wrong century, they simply live resenting everything that is new , life filled and real.....

Oh, two things to contribute.
1) I'm going to do some journalism. I'm going to go back to my home town, rent a Lexus, put a large flat screen TV in the back, drive to Martin Luther King Blvd and leave it there all night parked on the street. I will video the car all night. If something happens to the car and I write an article about that, what should the headline be?
2) The difference here is a the story refered to "BLM" was made about a powerless Black man. This story was about a powerful religio-politc bent on world domination and subjegation of all peoples. Thats where the analogy fails.
Again, Muslims aren't nice to me. Why should I be nice back? |

You poor thing. They're very nice to me.
Gotta go, they're breaking Ramadan fast for the day in 10 minutes, and the restaurant around the corner from my house is serving spectacular roti kosong with chicken curry. The friendliest people you could ever hope to meet are there. Exceedingly warm and generous.
Again, sorry to hear Muslims aren't nice to you.

Using Saudi Arabia as an example of Muslim attitudes toward religion is a little like using North Korea as an example of Confucian attitude toward the market economy.
A list(doubtlessly incomplete) of majority-Muslim countries where you WILL find churches...
Turkey
Indonesia
Iraq(though things have gotten a bit rough for Christians as of late, as a result of the overthrow of the Baath)
Egypt
Albania
Tunisia
Algeria
Syria
Jordan(which is attracting a large contingent of Christians fleeing Bush's new Iraqi utopia)
Palestine
Iran
As I said, likely an incomplete list. |

That's exactly right.
For balance, she should go to an airport in Saudi Arabia dressed in a tanktop, short skirt, and flip-flops. Seriously.
Of course, that article will never be printed. |

| Most people are aware that Saudi Arabia is intolerant and bigotted. The NYT article examines how much the west is becoming like them. Listening to the xenophobic palpitations of Dumblouz makes me think that some in the west can't wait until we are as pig ignorant and exclusivist as Saudi. |

Maybe we need to be reminded just how bigoted the Saudis, et al. are before we start flagellating ourselves. |

Yes, yes you have lots of evidence. All of these places have dhimmitude to some degree and of these places have human rights problems. You left Afghanistan off the list. They simply aren't hospitable places. The existance of Churches are good, but lets keep the ball rolling. Are they good for synagoges, Hindu or Bhuddist temples? Animists, Zorasters and Universal Unitarians? That would be no.
SA is the heart of Islam, the heart of Islam has no room for anyone else.
It is not acceptable to offer an excuse as a result. "Its OK that SA is bigoted, because they are bigoted". They need to become unbigoted and show results. Plus we are all forced to convert and or submit via terrorist threats. Its just not healthy and I don't have to accept it as such.
The Majority issue is irrelevent. I know many Christian activist groups that would love to build giant glass and steel Cathedrals in Mecca and Medina. We can populate the area with many Nigerian Christians so the churches can have a healthy and thriving congregation. |
