Ya "Bihengi" (or whatever) by the Turtles is a good song. Hardly embarrassing to admit to though as it's top of the charts here. I think Girlfriends "Maybe I Love You" is a really hot song as well.

Don't know about the song, but one of those girls has the hottest body I've every seen (Yoori, I think)

I admit any of my musical likes.

Hence the funny reactions from those who act like I'm the only guy in the world who likes Madonna, Celine Dion, Natalie Imbruglia, Jewel, Avril Lavigne, Lara Fabian and many other female vocalists.

Yet when it comes to that phenomenon known as 'girl bands' I'd have to cop out any affiliation after the Go-Go's. Embarassed I got sick immediately upon first and every hearing of Bananarama and the Bangles on the radio. The Spice Girls didn't help things much.

Yet I admit that Bananarama made one and only one song that didn't make me nauseous, "Cruel Summer". This is the first time I've said anything nice about them and I now take it back. A latter version by another band did it much better. It was the tune not the performers that held some appeal.

Interesting how music can generate such a visceral reaction eh.

Gang ah Jee have you heard the original Brazilian version of that song.......called Pluma Gay by Los Morancos I believe. Classic track!! And I honestly think it's the best version of the song although the video's a bit your face.

You sure do Van, it's inspiring. Hi, my name's HappeningThang and I like sappy, girrly songs (among other dubious choices).

Avril Lavigne's hits are on the list, as well as the soundtrack to Josie and the Pussycats, and Lindsay Lohan's Freaky Friday.
