It's largely through Dave's that I first learned about trolls and flamebait. So when it came time to choose a username, I combined the two terms.

So how about you? What does your name mean and/or why did you choose it?

My parents chose mine. It's Gaelic for 'John,' and isn't pronounced 'Owen.'

Haven't we done this before? I really, really like cucumbers. To eat. Really. And I love the dual-vowel, non-consonantal nature of ??.

I'm just fascinated by how Koreans and most Asians must say the word 'Ok' three times successively.

And I was watching an old Amazing Race, when the taxi driver didn't know where to go and got the contestants lost or something. The contestant screamed at him, "It's NOT ok,ok,ok!"
I laughed and it was the first thing that came to mind when I signed up.

My real name is Thomas, which is pronounced in Korean as 토마스, which is similar to 토마토.
The children tease me by calling me 토마토, whereupon I chase and tickle them.

Porter Goss was the Director of the CIA and I began posting as "him" satirically someone would say "George Bush is an idiot!" and Id respond with something like "Note to self, target for rendition."

Then he quit. It's too much of a hassle to start a new account, but on the other boards I'm John Dimitri Negroponte.

I wasn't able to use the name I always use for boards and for AIM b/c I registered under it for the Taiwan forum. "Smee" came to mind after watching "Hook," and now Smee is a household name in South Korea.
