|
|
Hey all,
I'm trying to organize a pub quiz in Ilsan. A twice a month type thing with prizes and such.
For those not familiar, you get a bunch of people together at a bar and split everybody randomly into teams. The organizer asks rounds of trivia questions and the top few teams win some fancy dollar store prizes.
Alot of fun and a great way to meet new people. Usually do this during the week in the evenings.
So if you're interested please PM me with your e-mail. When there are enough people I'll send out mails with date/time/location. Please mention it to friends/co-workers if you think they might be interested. The more the merrier.
Thanks. |

There used to be a quiz night almost every week in Ilsan.
It was super popular for a short time, and then interest died.
Good luck with it. If you can round up a good bunch, it's possible.
BTW, is that bar 'Don't Go' still there? |

| I'm voting with cwaddell. A Saturday or Sunday afternoon during the winter would really interest me. I live too far away (an hour outside Seoul) for any other time to be practical. |

There's certainly a big enough teaching community in Ilsan to make such a night feasible. It's just a question of drumming up the necessary level of interest. I know I could round up a team or two for sure. From previous experience in trying to get my own mates organised for nights out around here, a Friday night is probably best as a majority of folks tend to migrate towards Seoul on Saturdays.
Best of luck! |
