And I don't mean I have good-looking hair, though that's also true; what I mean is, since I decided to grow my hair like it's the Summer of Love, I've found that my bangs curl up so as to not block my vision.

Any theories? Is my hair an extension of my sharp mind? Is it working -- like clown fish and sea anemone -- in tandem with my smart eyebrows?

That might explain why I can't grow a decent beard or mustache. I'm taking it into consideration.

You know who has really smart hair? Kurt Russell, that's who.

Yeah, I've always rated Kurt highly in the 'smarts' department. I believe your avatar photo captures it well.

I used to get a natural Superman spit-curl in high school. That was pretty awesome.

I used to have a chin dimple when I was young. My mom used to tell me I looked like Kirk Douglas. When it disappeared as I grew, she stopped loving me.

Maybe the hair is smart but not the person. Wink

N Korea wages war on long hair
North Korean Television campaign on hair
Men's hairstyles reflect their 'ideological spirit'

North Korea has launched an intensive media assault on its latest arch enemy - the wrong haircut.

A campaign exhorting men to get a proper short-back-and-sides has been aired by state-run Pyongyang television.

Men's hairstyles reflect their 'ideological spirit'

It stressed the "negative effects" of long hair on "human intelligence development", noting that long hair "consumes a great deal of nutrition" and could thus rob the brain of energy.

Men should get a haircut every 15 days, it recommended.

However, up north they also think that a hand-held fan eats up the oxygen in the air.

I like to think of my hairstyle as classic-edgy.
