Precisely.

If you're any good at baseball, you play in MLB. Same with the NBA, and the NFL, and NHL. I'm not saying that Americans are the best at any of the sports, just that the best leagues in the world for these sports are found on North American Soil.

Could the Tigers have GIVEN the series to them any easier?

That was disgusting.. St. Louis HAS to be the team with the worst record in MLB history to ever win the World Series..

Errors upon errors... made me sick.

Many agree that the Card's pitching was stellar this year. But you're right, the had the chance after the Yankees finished so early and gave St. Louis a fighting chance. Actually, they played quite well against the Mets, too. As you recall, both the Tigers and Redbirds slid into the playoffs this year.
