I dont know the Krazy Lounge crew personally, but I know who they are. The owner guy is one of the meanest fastest coffee makers Ive ever seen. Good cafe, went there lots. Used to work just down the road at "Zest", as well as "Parade Cafe". "The Lido" was also a favourite.

When I was in Welly in April Krazy lounge was still a coffee shop but the potato, kumara and pumpkin wedges were no way near as good as I remembered them being.

do you know any of the Krazy lounge crew ?

I could use a Black Mac about now.

I know a couple of people who have worked there over the years. Do you know a half Thai dude called Kit, or a tall blond chick called Jo. I'm pretty sure I know someone else who did some time there. Its a decent place, hard to find a table for breakfast though.

I'd rather a Montieths Black. Or Gold. Or anything.

I have my problems with kiwi culture, the tendency towards over drinking and violence, and the sometimes small minded parochialism. But one thing I really like about kiwi's is that they do go hard out. They go hard out in whatever they do. Sometimes they do stupid shit, and they go hard out doing stupid shit. And sometimes they do great things, and they go hard out doing great things. They don't mess around them kiwi's. Churr churr...

FFD are doing really well in NZ. There album is awesome. I had been waiting about 2years for it to come out and it didn't dissapoint. The have gone a little mainstream now but only in sales, not in style. They were released on an underground label but still made it to number 1.

Yep, I was also waiting for an albumn from them from the moment I heard "Midnight Marrauders". I knew it was going to be hot, and it was. Them becoming popular doesnt bother me, cause they are sticking to thier sound and style, so that is not selling out to me. Hope they last a long time. I also wish we could get more from Rhombus. Other good kiwi albums of recent years were from The Black Seeds, and Nesian Mystic...

Anyone know when Che will put out another one?

Is rhombus the outfit that DJ Koa is involved with?

I really like the live stuff that Matt Recloose was doing with the wellie muso's

the scene is totally impressive considering the size of the place
