Grim economic outlook for next year
Private research institutes are painting a gloomier picture of the country's economic outlook next year amid lingering uncertainties over North Korea's nuclear test and a faster-than-expected slowdown of the global economy.

as if a nukie is going to break an economy?

That North Korean nukie was nopt experienced as a serios threat towards Korea so the influence of it will be minimized.

They are just trying to push the won down even more.

Could be. This is an economy that lives or dies on the strength of exports.

Wow, folks here just dont understand international economic, finance or investments. This is what happens when a nuke or threat is hanging over your head. Also, the possibilities that sanctions will be placed on S. Korea too. The US will float the dollar more to create more pressure on S. Korea.

Anybody knows that that nuke has no repercussions on South Korea, did you see how many koreans panicked that day...

The sanctions might be an issue, but with the FTA and all, i don't know about that. It is possible, but highly improbable.

If the US floats the dollar even more, not only South Korea will have a problem....
