Im going to Osaka for a couple days on my Xmas break. I'm wondering how much yen should i be looking at for a daily budget? Im not planning on doing anything very fancy, jsut some low level touristing.

Also, does anyone know if i can get a one-way visa pass at Gimhae airport?

if it's touristy type stuff you're after i'd recommend kyoto over osaka ( alot more shrines and palaces, overall a better feel of ancient japan); in osaka there is the castle but the himeji castle is alot better; you may get a kansai area pass or the JR version of it (the first allows you to pick what days you want to travel while the JR reaquires consecutive days) in order to see the area, may be worth it as getting from osaka airport (KIX) to osaka can cost around 3000 yen
in osaka though you can spend like crazy near dotonbori with its variety of restaurants and street vendors, stores, malls etc or you can play it cheap
to answer your question, including the 3000 yen/night hotel and food and entertainment...my gf and I spent about 4000 each/day but we were enjoying ourselves (eating Fugu and Kobe steak, playing mindless drum games, shopping a bit) so its up to how you want to enjoy it

4000 yen (32k won) per day is pretty much roughing it. Osaka on your holiday is not the time to play back-packer. Why would you want to.

A decent hotel will run you 10,000 yen. figure another 5000 yen for 3 nice meals and another 5000 yen for shopping and play. A nice 2/3 days will run you about 500k won (Change your Won to YEN here in Korea. It is hard to exchange Won in Japan).

Osaka / Japan is NOT a place you want to run out of money at.

It is easy to bring your extra unspent yen home with you.

Holy moley...good luck

40 000 won(the equivalent) in korea would be a stretch for a day if you are travelling and sightseeing
You will need at a bare minumum 100 000 a day...
