Hi guys.........got taken to the AU bar on saturday night in Daegu. After my post about the gay Thnuderbirds bar i decided it was my mission to find a good place to relax........wow great atmosphere and food, music was great and nice attractive girls behind the bar............now thats a bar.........
ps a class of coke was free!!! not 4000won.............like the thunderburp bar......
take my advice go there for a good time!!![/b]

Aw, my guess is that they probably slipped something into your drink at AU. You were hallucinating. There's nothing that distinguishes that place from any other korean style Beer, Wine, Hof, Food and Cacktail bar. It's good if you need a nap, though.

Nah, the doubters don't go to Thunderbirds...just the guys with girlfriends and real friends who aren't looking to pick up every Saturday...and hopefully come home with Hepatitis!

I think both bars are just ok. AU is good for a group in a booth or even a few guys at the bar and your buying whiskey. The bar ladie are pretty hot but well thats not a great reason to go to a bar. (not a bad reason either tho.)

Thunderbirds can feel cliquey to me. Thats just my opinion. Alot of ppl complain about the prices but then alot of ppl are cheap. Pay for your coke, its a bar, they make their money on soft drinks..

Think about it you idiot. You're in there on a busy Saturday night. Whoever is tending the bar is busy tending to customers buying liquor. It's a bar after all right? Said bartender is taking time away from serving booze to come and serve you something you could have taken in from the street. Then when the bartender charges you for it you get mad? Haha. Thunderburp???????????...that's not even funny. If you're going to be a $hit stain...at least be a funny $hit stain

I am, just like any other person in a bar entitiled to buy or drink whatever I choose. Beer/Wine or othewise? So what if someone drinks coke or juice its their choice right? If you work behind a bar you have to expect that not everyone wants to make idiots of themselves all the time. And if you think that 4000 for a coke out of an opend can in the fridge is fair then perhaps you are the $anker haha
