Changed communication radically.
I can write a 'letter' to a friend the other side of the world and they can recieve it in SECONDS.
You can apply for jobs and even interview from other sides of the globe in very short time, saving huge ammounts of expense on travel, mailing and of course time.
You can book a flight and hotel to anywhere int he world from your bedroom.
You can get a job at a school in Korea, not know what you're doing and come on websites like these and find lessons plans to fill out your classes.
You can spend your break time posting on Dave's!
Plus tons of other stuff.
Don't have to take it SERIOUSLY, but it's a very useful tool...! |

William Gibson said that the Internet was a "consensually [shared] hallucination" and I tend to agree with him.
Nothing about it is real. Take it seriously? Why? |

the internet is indeed a serious place.
it allows truck drivers to talk about english teachers.
it also lets homosexuals talk about eating meowmeow. |

I think your obsessive little blog thing indicates the contrary. |
