I ordered a magazine subscription through www.magazinecity.com and got my magazine for a year, so it's time to renew. I assumed that I should check What the Book and they would have cheaper subscriptions but they must have a really high markup! Magazine City has much better prices!!!! |

What are the shipping rates like? I saw several titles I have to get. |

you can also get them forwarded from the states for a good rate. Either get a mailbox at a mailboxes etc or one of those stores that have PO boxes (NOT the post office) or just have them sent to family or friends place. They can put them all in a global priority mail envelope for around $9 an envelope and it gets here in about a week. Iget mine sent about every 2 weeks |

You just click on the box that has the price in it (where it says "CHOOSE ONE"), and see the different prices depending on where you want it sent to.

Hello
Can anyone recommend a good current affairs magazine that will ship here on a six month subscription?
I'd prefer Time Europe but they won't deliver to Asia, and the same applies to all the other editions of Time bar Time Asia. Time Asia won't give me a six month subscription (I only have seven months left here). Newsweek is a no go as it only delivers to the US.
The link mentioned above doesn't have a very good selection of current events magazines (for me, anyway, not being a North American).
Any ideas?
Thanks. |

Yep. My granny goes to the post office every fortnight to send me magazines from the UK. One of the perks of being her favourite granddaughter I guess!

I used to subscribe to Newsweek (Asian version, I guess) - I happened upon a copy in a bookstore, "borrowed" one of those cards shoved inside they have for you to subscribe, and sent it off to Seoul somewhere. It's quite pricey, but I think the deal I got for a year-long sub was quite reasonable. |

Thanks Ekuboko, I've just had a look and managed to subscribe to Newsweek for 39 weeks. It's a bit more expensive than magazinecity.com but I reckon it'll be worth it. |
