I finish my one year contract on the 30 November, what date do I have to leave Korea to avoid any overstay charges?

You have to be OUT OF THE COUNTRY by midnight on the expiry date indicated on your ARC.

on the left hand side of the page you will see a link to "ALIEN REGISTRATION CARD". Click the link.

That's sound advice as the date on your contract may not match the date on your contract.

That happened to me and I had to get my ARC extend at immigration.

I needed to get a months extension once in Busan because I wanted a break between contracts.

I went to the immigration office to explain I wanted to travel around Korea and spend some of the money saved while working.

They said they would only give me a two week extension as a full month is too long to travel around Korea apparently.

I also had a friend who overstayed by three days and she had to pay a good lump of a fine on the way out.
