| As the weather turns cold and dry and we become lil balls of static, watch yourself for static electricity when plugging in a USB device. Most laptops are well shielded against normal static (the case, the keyboard, etc) but the weak point is the USB port. You can deliver a chip frying bit of static when you plug in a device. So, before you plug in a device, make sure you ground yourself. Touch your chair or desk. |

I fried a PS2 connector on my mainboard once...a shock through the mouse. Had to use a USB mouse after that.

 I just googled the phrase... from the first page of results...
a) Spray-on Pigeon repellant
b) Pigeon death spray
c) South Korea Pigeon fabric softener
d) Spray to wipe out Pigeon droppings!
 yeah, nuthin' much to do here...
