The posting says it is a 10-month contract. That means you would not get severance payment (which requires one year) and neither would you be paid for some vacation between those ten-month contracts (if you renewed for another 10-month contract).

Yet further down in the post it says severance is given for completion of a one-year contract.

Sounds to me they've got it worked out to their favor: pay you only for the time you teach; not holidays, not severance.

I guess if the 2.5 mil a month is good enough for you, it could be okay. But saying it is a 2.5 mil a month job seems misleading.

If you are interested, why not just drop them a line and put your queries to them?

You're right !

Guess I wanted to let others who might be considering the job have a heads up.

Not in the job market myself; just keep tabs on what is happening out there, sometimes referring things I see to others who are looking.

Anyway, . . anyone who might be thinking of the position . . there's something for you to check out.

10 months is a strange contract length. I believe that the minimum contract length for an E-2 visa is 12 months.

Maybe they don't want an E-2 visa holder.
