Silly Canadian, look around anywhere there is trouble. What do you see? Remington products? Nope. Browning products? Nary a one. Winchester products? Nyet. Colt, Smith and Wesson, Marlin or Mossberg products? None in sight. What do you see? AKMs, AK-47s and RPGs. NONE OF THESE are produced in the US. The US sells HIGH END products, which are rarely used in anything but selfdefence. Don't shoot at people who buy US equipment and you won't be shot back at. Oh, then again you support Muslim slime like Hezbolla and Hamas. SMUCK!

Carl,

Please take the military baton out of your.......

You are totally brainwashed if you think the U.S. of A. doesn't profit through channels (and immensely so) other than those "official". As I pointed out repeatedly, many U.S. manufacturers have diversified overseas and produce a wide array of components and part through a vast network of companies, losely tied together.

But the money runs back hill, home to mama.

I would also add here that it is terrible how the U.S. military preys on its young. How it has become a kind of Foreign legion, taking in anyone that is desperate. Criminals, unemployed, young-don't-know-what-to-do, non U.S citizens desperate to stay in the country, get a passport.

One could say that the military has lost its stripes and put up a red light, if you know what I mean. Tolstoy raged against the Russian version of this during their own "empire" 100 + years ago. I rage against this version which takes young men and makes them into those who would believe in the gun and shallow righteousness. Even if suppossedly "voluntary".

Yeah, it is very silly to care about our youth.......so silly. But I guess that is why I am a teacher.

DD

May I state the obvious?? Hard to sell what you are using yourself.

Dealers usually avoid that if they want to be successful. Apparently, the Bush Cadre is intent on addiction.

My take on the whole deal:

This is a lot of people blathering on about submarine sales and trying to equate it with ak-47/74's.

All of you should read the OP before you start spouting.

Not every arms sale to the developing world is an automatic weapon.
