So how long does the Fukuoka visa run take nowadays ?

What do you have to bring with you ?

How can you do it on the cheap ?

It takes 2 days, you need your visa confirmation number, passport, 2 photos, signed application form (at the consulate) and 6000 yen for the visa.

You should take an extra 20,000 YEN if you can afford it (US$200) for other expenses + your transportation costs.

You can squeeze by on US$100 if you are really tight but it is NOT fun.
