No. And Starbuck is fine.

Oh, but Shannon... Embarassed. Oh, LORDY.

And I believe the link is for all three seasons. The first non-pilot episode "33"(it's woth getting a decent copy of) is probably the best they ever did and it won a bunch of awards. However, I believe season three is definitely shaping up to be the best season thus far...better and better.

As for nice touches and reasons to watch the show, one of my favorites is the silence of space. No screaming tie-fighters, no explosions--that wouldn't happen in the void. Also, no need for massive rocket blasts to change trajectories--it's a weightless environment. The only time you ever hear a lot of sound is when they are doing closeups in the cockpit, then you can hear the machine, go outside of the spacecraft and...muffledville.

Stuff like that makes a story.

I must say I am rather surprised about the voting thus far, but in an online poll I guess one can always rely on the Jedis and Trekkies fighting for freedom of universal domination...

Sir, I assume you have not purchased the DVDs. That is the official subtitle of the show:

LOST: That Island Crap

Wirklich.

I like both. I think it's a problem of the approach. With BSG, you're kind of "wow, I'm glad to have it. And I can't believe what they've done this week with their budget!" You understand it's Sci Fi channel, its shoe string budget.

Lost is ABC (I think). Big money. They better deliver every week.

5. Nuke explosions and starship destruction. Some damn cool explosions of Cylon ships and Battlestars.

6. Great weird plotlines. The whole bit about the President seeing visions and finding Kobol, but Adama thinks she's crazy. Sharon's baby, and the Cylons seem to believe that the child is the salvation. The political storylines in Season 2 were great.

7. Good characters. Starbuck, Tigh, literally chew up the scene. One of Starbuck's best was the in season 1 where she crashed on the planet and was grounded but planned that raid on the refinery. Also her relationship with Admiral Adama (especially the latest) where there's a father-daughter relationship.

That's just not something worth getting uptight over. This series is way better than the original. You can like the old one for retro goofiness, but this Starbuck is a better character.

BSG by a long shot, and the critics agree.

BSG is awsome. I love the aspects of this show. They touch, economics, politics and social issues in a very realistic way.

I use to love LOST but it turned into a flashback central, nothing new nothing interesting I've lost myinterest for the show.

I also found that Jericho is very good as well. But its starting to turn into Lost after 6 episodes.

I really enjoy Heroes.

What we expect them to deliver is ramped up considerably. I don't really have much of a problem with Lost.
