Has anyone on there travels around Seoul, managed to come across some good record collecting stores. I'm looking for old EP'S & LP's mainly from U2 to add to my collection.

Any light anyone can shed would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

It's hard finding good records, but if all you want is U2, you can probably find that anywhere.

There's one not too far from Ehwa womens university subway. Not sure which exit you take, but if you walk past a load of wedding dress shops heading towards the city centre (city hall) and away from Sinchon, you'll pass an old vinyl store. Got lots of Beatles albums in the window.... sorry my directions are a bit rubbish Sad

I saw a used record shop in Hondae (Hongik) University area, but they were outrageously expensive. 25,000 won for a used 2 lp of Led Zeppelin.

Korea's not a good country for the record collector. people here download everything into their mp3 players.

The largest amount of record stores were in Dongdaemoon last I checked, but they've probably been swept under the rug by Lee Myungbag by now.

Inside Dongdaemun stadium is a flea market. I saw tonnes of old LPs there. Mostly Korean though, which makes sense. And I have no idea of the condition.

But hey, I got a pretty decent knock-off guitar there, so you never know how your luck will go.
