Hi,

I'm currently in Gwangju and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a book club that is going on. I know it can be hard to get English books in Korea, especially if not in Seoul, but I would like to join a club, or start one......

Or does anyone know of any other little club like things that go on? I live in a part of gwangju where I see no other foreigners duringthe week so I am looking to do something as I'm going crazy!

thanks!

Booking clubs, I'm not sure. There's a chance they might not let foreigners into them, but you are a girl so maybe they'll make an exception.

I understand where you are coming from. I was somewhat lucky in Daegu and Busan finding books. I would go to Kyobo buy a couple and and then trade with my co-workers after reading them. Or, for "must-haves" order directly from Amazon.com.
