You should see how many astrologists I met when dating a girl from the psychology department in uni  They were the heavy duty ones too, not just fun and games ones. |

No, I want more people to know so I'll say the standard thing. The stereotype about type B blood was created by the Nazis as evidence that Aryans are superior to Asians and Jews. It reached Japan and was revived in the '70s by a crackpot Japanese author, and exported to Korea.

"Type-B men" is usually opposed to "Type-A men" as descriptive categories regarding personality types in Western academic and popular press. Type As are aggressive, competitive, a bit uptight, Type B's are relaxed, patient a bit lazy.
You mean "Blood type-As".
Let not Korea make us into Konglish machines.  |

It came from some Japanese author around 40 years ago. She had no schooling in or real knowledge of science of the body or psychology.

All the girls I met have asked me for my blook type and I just tell them that I'm type "Red". And I asked them if their blood type is "Yellow". And I tell them red and yellow make nice pink babies.  |

They don't even acknowledge my bloodtype, in fact I heard it doesn't exist in Asia, O-negative.
But there can be no truth in categorizing the entire population as follows,
"All A types are intelligent and kind"
"All O types are sincere and funny"
"All B types are secretive and lazy" (or however it goes)
--->its up there in stupidity ratings with fan death |

Can you imagine how awful it must be for any Blood Type B K-men who are rejected because of their blood type?
They probably end up with pretty low opinions of women's intelligence if they get rejected on that basis consistently (unless they believe the blood type thing too, in which case it might imspire self-loathing). |

That would be like a man lying to a woman in the hope of getting some and that would NEVER happen, right fellas? Mind you, I consider it just another fine example of the curious beliefs that our Korean friends have although, I am concerned that this can be refelective of their intelligence (or lack thereof)...Surely if one is educated and informed one would reject such a childish notion. |

I don't know why korean people FOCUS so much on Type A, B, O
In my education and country we have many more groups - such as
A+
A-
AB+
AB-
B+
B-
O+
O-

and what do Koreans think is the difference between a person who is A+ or A- ? or B+ or B- ?
there are more than just 3 blood types..........

Type O
People with blood type O people are outgoing, energetic and social. They are the most flexible of the blood types. They value the opinion of others and like to be the center of attention. Also, people with O blood are extremely self-confident.
Type O, the most "average" blood type, is considered the best type in Japan.
Quatre, Sailor Moon, Saito Hajime, Kamiya Kaoru, Tamahome
Type AB
People with blood type AB are hard to categorize. They can have characteristics on both ends of the spectrum at the same time. For instance, they are both shy and outgoing. They easily switch from one opposite to another. AB people are trustworthy and responsible, but can't handle it when too much is asked of them. They don't mind doing favors or helping out, as long as its on their own conditions. People with this blood type are interested in art and metaphysics.
AB is considered the worst blood type. In predictability-loving Japan, they're loose cannons. They also like to set their own conditions and reserve the right to drop out when things don't meet their expectations. They're known to be sensitive and considerate�at times�but it just isn't enough to balance out the flaws in this blood type. For a while, some companies tried dividing their employees into work groups based on blood type, and no one wanted to work with the AB group. Anime villains are likely to be type AB.

A is most compatible with A and AB.
B is most compatible with B and AB.
AB is most compatible with AB, B, A, and O.
O is most compatible with O and AB. |
