|

Ok I am at my wits end here.
My computer had been acting up of late so I took it in to get fixed. Before it was hooked up to my tv and I used it as a dual screen, with the monitor being my primary one. I am sure that ive connected everything like before but now all im getting is a test pattern and no image. When i go into DISPLAY and SETTINGS, it is not even ready my tv as being there.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. |

Well, first off, try uninstalling, then reinstalling the latest version of your video driver. |

What kind of video card do you have? Which version of the video driver are you using? What kind of cable are you using to connect it to the TV? |

Ok so ive re-installed the correct drivers and NOW it recognizes my tv as a secondary monitor. However im still getting the vertical 'bar-code' test pattern....like what you see at then end of broadcasting on tv channels. I hooked it up to my laptop and the picture came thru on the tv fine.
Arrrrrgh im pulling my hair out here! |

Well, you're going to have to give us more information to work with. You could start by answering the questions in my previous post. |

Hmm...Well, is there any way for you to switch back to the driver that you had before when everything was working? Barring that, there is a program called TV Tool which is supposed to help people who've had problems getting video to display.
