So I was flipping through the TV channels earlier, and I came across a WWE show. One of the wrestler's, Tito, gimmick is that he dresses up in women's clothes, and here he was sporting a French maid's outfit. Gripping stuff.

Anyway, here's the killer thing: everytime the camera caught a shot of underneath Tito's dress, it was blurred out. Which is hilarious, because the guy was wearing what I assume are regular wrestling tights. So why don't they blur out the crotches and butts of the wrestlers who DON'T cover their tights up with a dress.

This is even weirder than the DVD for Once Upon a Time In America blurring out the breasts of a dead woman (who isn't even dead).

Backwards, I tells ya.

They've done a couple, yeah. It's like once every year or 18 months or something.

No, to go by what the rasslin fans are posting, he's sporting a teabag thong underneath.

I'd blur Vito, too, in that case. Now, if that Women's champ were to wear one, I might have to rethink my position on that.

What is funnier is that they will cut to black and white when a wrestler's "blood" is on his face. They will edit out a chair hitting a man in the back or the head. Wrestling is fake, they must know this, but when it comes to Pride or K1, they will show anything. I'm not one for censorship, but come on, you are editting out a performance, not a fight. I'm surprised they show some of the scenes from CSI, they involve blood.

They have women-folk showing their money-maker all of the time

Do they do the same thing when gagmen cross-dress on gag concert or similar (hilarious) shows? If so, maybe it has to do keeping the illusion of womanhood real.

That's because censorship follows arbitrary rules.

His name is Vito, not Tito. He just posed for Playgirl this month.

Yes, Vito has a lame gimmick, but don't let it turn you off the rest of the show. I don't much go for these 'shock' type gimmicks. I appreciate real talent.

I'm not into Melinda, Melina, or whatever her name is. Now, Mickie can pin me anytime.

There's very little talent on these shows (there is some, now that Benoit's back). It's all gimmick and soap opera storylines. You have to watch Japanese or Mexican stuff to see talent.

WWE tells their wrestlers not to do so many high flying moves, and other moves that have a high risk of injury. It lengthens their careers some and the company loses money. The piledriver has been banned, for one thing.

Just because a wrestler doesn't do certain moves, doesn't mean he can't do them. Look at Edge years ago. He was a high flyer, and now he barely ever flies. After a neck surgery, I can understand.

Tell that to Angle. The man's practically a cripple. Give it another year and he'll be dead in the ring. And he's thrown it out that he wants to do MMA? He's certifiable.

Except for UT and Kane. But yeah, several moves have been banned, like the Shooting Star Press.

He had the same surgery done on his neck that Angle and Benoit had; some sort of new non-fusing of the vertebrae.

Tombstone Piledriver is ultra-safe. Victim holds tight and nothing touches the mat except for the knees.
